I have scoured the internet, and could not find a solution that would work for me. I have MinGW32 in use for two years now, but MingGW64 seems to be a little different. Works this in waf different?

I tried this after noticing the batch file not using double-quotes around the install bin path. Had to resort to ProcMon to be able to find the root of the problem. Trying from command line with -v option also failed.
So even though this is an old thread, I figure I might as well post my solution in case someone else finds this thread through Google(like I did).
I'm trying to compile .cpp files with gcc.exe, while g++ is actually required. Here select the Global Compiler settings(with a Gear Symbol) and in the sub-options select the Toolchain executables option.
