If you are able to navigate within FRx and access toolbars, can you check the sysdata location and make sure this is mapped correct. Do existing reports, row sets,column sets, etc need to be modified to accomodate new companies if the chartof accounts is the same format, using the same natural accounts?Thanks.Post by Rick Tenorio
I have this set to rebuild every time a user logs into an FRx company. There are two (2) ways to fix Frx Runtime Error 5 Error: Advanced Computer User Solution (manual update): 1) Start your computer and log on as an administrator. 2) Click If you can set the company as default, create a new row format, clickEdit from the menu bar and choose Add Rows From Chart of Accounts.
Itappears the problem is in the Row Sets. that doesn’t seem to be right. I remember this routine would shrink the size of my access databases back when I used access. This just happened this morning. .

You will need to confirm that the accountmasks are exactly the same. (The natural account is in the same location,etc.) You will definitely have to change the company referenced in column Or is the report designer? There should be no reason to have to adjust the building blocks fora second company if the accounts and account structure are the same.For support you will either contact FRx support

Typically Rows and Columns do not need to be updated. (There are somescenarios when you may, but most rows and columns are built generically.)The Tree is a different story.
This corrupted system file will lead to the missing and wrongly linked information and files needed for the proper working of the application. If that works, then there are files in the sysdata that may be corrupted. Users need at least read write but full control works.If you have a sysdata backup, try replacing the whole folder and see if you can login. Can you set the company as default without error?2.
