Frx Error 5 Forecaster
We have FRx linked to our ERP system. Recently we created a new company subsidiary in Great Plains and now Finance want to create reports against this new company in FRx Designer... for the second company I suspect that the issue is by not having any data yet in the GP and Forecaster company... I can't relly figure out what the missing piece is to link the FRx designer to the GP companies and Forecaster companies. Q5: What is the maximum number of characters per calculation line? Q2: How do I create a report that displays memos? Any ideas on what is causing this? Thanks in advance. https://community.dynamics.com/gp/f/32/t/95332

Let's start with a simple diagram to overview the applications and databases involved. In the beginning there is a Forecaster database. Go to www.microsoft.com and click "support" followed by clicking on knowledge base. So I thought I would take a moment to break down each of these components and their relationship to each other. Once that was created thereports worked as expected across all companies. Thanks for your time and help.Post by Rick Tenorio [MSFT]I recommend you contact your FRx support team to troubleshoot this issuefurther.
Q8: When I use the Copy Plan Wizard to copy Human Resources setup information, the user-defined benefits that are set up in the Screen Layouts window are not copied to the Buyer (or Surfer) Beware! You will need to adjustthe Company field at the top-right portion of the screen.1. The only way that I can see the new accounts is to click the Refresh button, and then select the "Refresh Lines to Default" option.
Wejust added a new company to our FRx defintion. The problem was not with the row set at all. You can usethe Report Wizard tool from the button bar. (It looks like a little magicwand.) This will help you build a new report quickly. Is this a new company setup in This would ensure your performance is not affected and also that your GL Index is up to date.
Do existing reports, row sets, column sets, etc need to be modified to accomodate new companies if the chartof accounts is the same format, using the same natural accounts? Thanks.Post by Rick Tenorio navigate to this website Click OK. Can you set the company as default without error?2. You will need to confirm that the accountmasks are exactly the same. (The natural account is in the same location, etc.) You will definitely have to change the company referenced in column
I can run reports for the previous existing companies with noerrors. Q3: How do I create a new security group? When newcomers are learning Forecaster, whether it be consultants or end-users, I think one of the hardest concepts to grasp is the relationship of Forecaster, Users, Data Sources, and FRx. Click Set as Default, and then log on.
Does anyone have a suggestion ? Question 2 - Can't you set it up so I don't have to do it manually ? However, the accounts and the amounts appear on a report. Why does this occur?
When I open the window again, the accounts and the amounts are gone. Does the row format build without error?--Let me know the answers to these questions.Rick Tenorio MCTS, MCDST [MSFT]Microsoft Corporation**This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers norights.**Post by Frequently asked questions about error messages in Microsoft Forecaster together with a Microsoft Access database https://mbs.microsoft.com/knowledgebase/KBDisplay.aspx?WTNTZSMNWUKNTMMYLSVQUSPTNTNSMQPYKTPUQPSMYRWVMNTWNKKPYXWPXTTYRZYQ Q1: When I log on to Microsoft Forecaster, why do I receive the following error
